NEWS weak

THE GOON! (photo by Skater Mitch) Cal as ever, bombing high speed lines... bench ride, gap, manual.

Focus! Dench and all that. Flagz and I went out for a mish with Cooper and the FP royz a couple of days ago. After a year long rail hiatus, Flagz did 5 in one day. Boo-utey!

In other BMX related snooze, Joe Fox and his lovely girlfriend Emma started their journey back to the UK via some tropical locations. Here we have Beer, just a mere hour before departure at Bra open.

Bar Open Fame

Found this pic within the Steady Bumpen trip article on skateboard.com.au amongst skate photos of Tane, Snapper and Benny (who helped out with the content and production of Nothing's Wrong zines 1 and 2) .

Snapper also gave 'Bar Open' a shout out in his interview in Bolts mag issue 2.. That place gets heavily sessioned amongst the street lurkers.

If you travelled through a black hole, would straight become crooked??

In an alternate dimention, a place where the common conception of now is flipped and reality is reversed, Scooters would be steezy, cypress Hill would be straight edge, and Cooper Brownlee would be producing publications like this!

Activities.

Keep your eyes peeled on an upcoming issue of 20/20 magazine for a full Rawkus Boogaloo exposé with the one and only 'LB'.

Rap city committee.

Chino XL

Tits out for the royz.

I've got shoe.

Cherry bar after batterator... The skater formally known as Chewscabba the rookie... service with a smile.

DOom

Top 5 moments of the evening.

5. Ghostface's spliff-man... a hype man, who doesn't speak, stands on stage and blazes one after the other.
4. Product-toss fights during Chino XL's on point political rhyme styles.
3. Underdog-guy kicking arse at reciting Wu tang lyrics on stage with Ghostface.
2. Predicting Ghostface's God shout-outs.
1. Doom declaring that he had lost 20 pounds in weight, then dropping 'Beef rap'.

Raddest mum award winner.

Dave Cee is cranking out some gems lately. Here is one of his latest, along with his spread in Nothing's Wrong zine issue 1. Dave Cee has some rad artwork included in the upcoming Third issue of Nothing's Wrong. Oooh chocky bickies... oh.. a late comer, swooping in at number 8... 'Oooooh, chocky bickies' (no chocky bickies included).

Catchphrase Continued...

Courtesy of Flagz... a continuation of the previous post...

Number 4: "Ready"      (editors note. Rrrrr....)
Number 5: How is he!  (editors note. Number 3!)
Number 6: Clever girl   (
editors note. JP... yeah!)
Number 7: Good Girl!  (
editors note. seedy)

The wig, the glasses, the catchphrase... Brilliant.

Good grief.. currently, catchphrases within the BMX community are GOING OFF, much like the contents of a fridge in a BMX sharehouse! Top 3 of 2012 spawned from the Collingwood/Fitzroy area so far?

3. Coming in at number 3.. 'Sound the horn'.

2. Pipped at the post with a close second... 'You beauty'!

1. Hands down, in at number 1, sparked by Anchor deckhand and Fitzy beer swiller, B-set... 'Ch-yeahhh Roy'!!

DFC spesh

Thats right. Da Fitzy Crew, take note. The DFC spesh unpredictably appeared at 'Don Tojo's' and not at Prawny's workplace, 'Super tasty rooster', which was hands down, number 1 favourite to print this on the menu. Wonders never cease!

Northcote social dub

The Goon is back in the country. The streets are trembling. Tight entry dub.

Teen, teen, teen, pervert, teen, teen.

Former LDN chron-meister, Joe Fox

There was a big crew sessioning the streets of Northcote today. Shout outs go to the Preston crew, stand up tall. Props to Pete Schiff, good to see him back on a bike, manual 360's, know dat. The rider formally known as 'London Chronic', still does a mean flattie, trust. Anchor massive, hear me now. Hold tight.

Kiwi Krackdown

International Butt cam.

Share cam.

Timmy Hutchinson, featured somewhere in both of these photos, sent me a link to some tunes formulated by the musicians he used to work with in his previous band, Tiddabades. 'Sunken seas' is the name of the trio, check the link for more info and soundcloud links.

On another Tim related note, he leaves for Europe in the coming fortnight, along with fellow kiwi shredder Robby 'robby brown' Brown, so a big party is in order. Get your thinking/drinking hats on.

Pics. gergCAM.

Doom

This photo was taken last year at the Doom show in St Kilda, it was included in 'Nothing's Wrong Zine' issue 2, but due to the flimsy nature of stoners with photocopiers, it came out rather dark. Anyway, Doom is playing with Ghostface killer this Saturday 9th June in Melbourne. Based on Doom's performance last year, this one's gonna be a stinker!

Yo sick zine - Canada

http://yosickzine.blogspot.com.au/

Canadian's manage to kill it on so many levels.
High Times magazine has acknowledged them on numerous occasions for some of British Colombia's fine achievements.
Yo sick zine is yet another facet of Canadian subculture that does things very well indeed. Recently Prashant Gopal from 'Yo Sick' sent through a few back issues to our Melbourne headquarters. They contain heaps of cool illustrations and interesting articles for the 'spot' connoisseur. The guys who make this have also started creating a broadsheet newspaper print zine distributed through BMX stores. Check the site for some inspiration.

History is rewritten at the Imax blue ledge. The lines keep coming.

Post shred chills at Imax. Nate Walker truly stepped the game up this evening with possibly the best line 'the blue ledge' has been assaulted with to date. Keep your eyes peeled for the new Defero video magazine (issue 4) for the footage. The DVD is coming soon with issue one of crAnk tits zine. Hold tight!

Beechy blazing

Beechy has been shredding in Melbourne for the past week in preparation for his scheduled trip to Europe. Here he combines the forces of two vices for the camera. Fitzy night sesh. GERGcam.
